Skip Bayless and LeBron James are not a match made in heaven. But after all the years of constant badgering, it’s hard to imagine LeBron without immediately thinking of Skip. The FS1 analyst has built a brand solely dependent on bashing LBJ.

He likely had much more ambitions before and was likely not so critical of the Lakers superstar. However, in recent seasons, he has taken it upon himself to dethrone King James. And quite frankly, even with the Lakers playing horribly, it’s going to be tough to dethrone LeBron.
But Skip has not yet given up. He is changing his methods and getting more creative with his attacks. After the Cavs vs Nets matchup, Skip Bayless used Darius Garland’s performance to attack Rich Paul’s client list which, without any surprise, includes LeBron James.
Skip Bayless attacks LeBron James even when he is not playing
To be fair, Skip’s attacks have gotten out of hand. He has become a certified hater who thinks the only possible path to remain relevant and succeed is to attack LeBron James no matter when or where. His recent tweet after the Nets vs Cavs proves exactly this.
Bayless, while complementing Darius Garland, took a shot at Rich Paul’s client list. The list includes players like Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, and Zach LaVine. But the biggest name on the list is easily LeBron James, the man Skip enjoys dissing in almost every tweet he sends out.
Darius Garland from Vanderbilt made the Nets sweat with 46 points on 14 of 20. At least one Klutch client is clutch.

It’s fascinating to see how no matter what Bayless does or says, LeBron never retorts or acknowledges his existence anywhere. For someone protecting Michael Jordan’s legacy, Bayless is especially nasty with his comments on LBJ.
Darius Garland dropped 46 against the Nets
Cleveland’s 6ft 1″ guard has been exceptional since the last season. With the Cavaliers at their lowest in 2020-21, he pretty much turned their season around in 2022-23. Though the Cavs were 8th in the Eastern Conference, it was a major upgrade from 13th seeding.
Now, they stand 4th in the East after their loss at the hands of Brooklyn. Despite the loss, Garland contributed 46 points and 8 assists. Definitely worthy of praise.
