George hit 27 points in the game as the Clippers coasted to victory after Porzingis was surprisingly ejected when he intervened on a scruffle between Doncic and Marcus Morris. George and his all-star teammate Kawhi were outshone by sophomore guard Luka Doncic who had stats of 42 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds.

The Mavericks were in the lead when Porzingis were ejected and the squad will look to bounce back in game 2 on Wednesday. The Clippers on the other hand will look to contain Luka Doncic who made merry with Clippers weakened defense on him. Kawhi and co. are looking good as they enter the playoffs.

With several players capable of dominating a game, the ceiling is pretty high for the Clippers and anything less than a championship victory will be seen as a disappointment. As for George, he will hope to continue a leave a mark in the playoffs after failing to do so in the past.
