Several players have raised questions about food and living conditions in Orlando. The NBA superstars are usually accustomed to a very luxurious lifestyle. Thus, when Rondo labelled his decent-looking hotel room as ‘motel’, he has been criticized by several users on Twitter.

The four-time all star posted a Instagram story of his hotel room and labelled it ‘Motel 6’. Although the league has been criticized over sub-standard living conditions previously, fans spoke again Rondo this time around.
According to several fans, he seems to appear as spoiled or privileged. The Lakers were already criticized by some to be favored for better rooms. Thus, Rondo got the short yard of the stick when he threw shade at the conditions. Some fans even ripped apart his performances on the court with the Lakers.
Moreover, the players need to understand that the NBA is doing its best to get the season underway and make sure it ends. Hotel rooms are more or less as luxurious as they can be. Players need to be a little more grateful and get on with their job at hand.
