Stephen Curry recollects the funny incident, how his daughter Riley helped him in choosing Under Armour as the company to sign a contract with.

Stephen Curry is one of the all-time legends. There is no denying Curry and his insane scoring and shooting abilities. What the Oakland hero has achieved in the past 12 years is only a testament to his greatness. Night in and night out, Steph manages to perform on the highest level and drop points at will.

Being a 2-time MVP, 7-time All-Star, 3-time champion and the GOAT shooter, Steph has one of the biggest fan-followings amongst all the players of the league. Despite being 33-years-old, this season, the 6-foot-3 guard has even outperformed his unanimous MVP season and clinched his second-ever scoring title.

As many know, Stephen Curry is the face of Under Armour. It is because of the Golden State superstar that the underrated sporting equipment company, is now one of the biggest sports companies in the world. No doubt Curry is a great marketable personality for the American brand.

Stephen Curry narrates a story revealing how his daughter helped him in signing a deal with Under Armour

During Steph’s historic 2016 season, not only the Warriors but also Under Armour was benefitting. Their footwear sales surged 64% in only the first three months of 2016 and even sold a record $153 million in shoes in that time period. Today, Steph is well rewarded by the company with his own line called – “Curry Brand”, making him the Michel Jordan of UA.

Back in 2013, Curry had the decision of selecting what brand he wanted to sign with. Keeping his constant ankle injuries and his daughter’s choice in mind, Chef Curry made the decision to represent Under Armour. The Baby Faced Assassin narrated the hilarious story, how his then-two-year-old daughter Riley helped him in the successful decision:

“I had some ankle chillers at the time and I really needed a shoe that just felt good and gave me confidence… And I just stood in a room full of shoes and put them on. At the time Under Armour was just launching their Spawns and there were some new innovations coming.”

“My daughter Riley was at the time was two and I was at my agent’s house down in LA. We were just kinda messing around with a bag full of all the shoes… I said, ‘Riley come on here, and help me put all these shoes around’. So I had Nike, Adidas, Brandblack, Under Armour shoes in the middle of the room. I told her, ‘Go pick your favourite and hand it to daddy. “That was pretty much the end of it right there.”
