Shaquille O’Neal Commends LeBron James For ‘Most Playoff Series Wins’ After Beating Stephen Curry and the Warriors
In his 20th season in the NBA and 16th post-season thus far, LeBron James has proven himself as arguably the most complete performer of all time. The King is now the man with the highest number of playoff series wins with 41. And Shaquille O’Neal, who himself was a big achiever in the post-seasons couldn’t help but praise the 4x Champ.
From the get-go, James was relentless on offense Friday night. He led the Lakers in building a massive lead over the visiting team from the starting whistle and didn’t rest until the Final buzzer, contributing 30 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, and a block in 43 minutes of game time.
And as his former team beat the Dubs 122-101 to advance to the Western Conference Finals, Shaq acknowledged Bron’s latest achievement.

There might be only a few things in the world that could give LeBron James more happiness than winning a post-season series over Stephen Curry’s Warriors. After all, he has only done it once before — his Championship success in 2016.
However, becoming the player with the most playoff series wins ever by tying Derek Fisher and getting praise from the man who led Fisher to more than half of those wins, might also give him something to cherish. O’Neal posted the following on his Instagram story.

An incredible achievement for sure. But, how good does it really get?
James will finish his career as the greatest post-season performer of all time
If he leads the Lakers to the NBA Finals this season, LeBron will have the highest amount of post-season wins. Although it’s safe to say that Fisher is not stopping him from being the greatest Playoff performer ever, it’ll just be official.
The man had led 3 different teams in 9 NBA Finals between 2011 and 2020, which in itself was an incredible feat. But he also won 4 Championships and 4 Finals MVPs in that period, putting up numbers that will tell you something about his dominance in the game.
The 38-year-old still has it in him to do it yet another time. Let’s hope we see him in a couple more Finals before he calls it a day.
