"She wasn't an acrobat": When 5x NBA Champion Dennis Rodman went into explicit details about his s*x life with the 'Queen of Pop'

Celebrity lifestyles are commonplace in the NBA nowadays. But the trailblazer and maverick in that sense was arguably the one and only Dennis “the Menace” Rodman.

The former NBA champion with the Pistons and the Bulls was quite the character on and off the court. With Rodman came the assurance of incredible defense and equal amounts of drama.

Rodman’s most viral moments when it came to the limelight around his off-court shenanigans revolved around his relationship with the ‘Queen of Pop’, Madonna. The renowned musician was a tabloid superstar and her relationship with the NBA star was as high-profile as it got at the time.

However, it seems that the glitz and glamour weren’t as prominent in the relationship as much as what surrounded it. Apparently, this relative dullness extended to their s*x life too. And these are words from the mouth of a concerned party here, Dennis Rodman himself.

What did Dennis Rodman explain in excruciating detail regarding his relationship with Madonna?

The Worm was an in-demand commodity in the NBA during his time in the league. And evidently, his appeal extended well beyond his sporting prowess too.

The ‘Queen of Pop’, arguably the most popular female musician of her era, was head over heels for the Rodman experience, in Rodman’s own words. And this, despite their s*x life not being wild or crazy or even kinky enough for The Worm’s liking.

“Madonna talked all the time about having a baby. I think she wanted every bit of Dennis Rodman–marriage, kids, everything” Rodman talked of the dynamic in their relationship before getting graphic about his s*x life on Bad as I wanna be.

S*x with Madonna wasn’t “wild, crazy, and kinky. It was just very entertaining. She wasn’t an acrobat, but she wasn’t a dead fish either”. Rodman was clearly of the opinion that this relationship wasn’t lining up with the spiciness the tabloids served it with.

While all of this was unfurling, however, The Worm was having a career turmoil at San Antonio too. An unpleasant situation which Rodman definitely sought escape from clawed in on him from all sides, according to his own words.

How was Dennis Rodman’s career in turmoil at San Antonio?

The former Defensive Player of the Year had arrived at San Antonio via a trade after a fallout with the Detroit Pistons. However, outside the”Bad Boys” organization, the Worm seemed to struggle to find his feet.

After a relatively successful start, things went downhill for the Rodman-Spurs alliance. During the Playoffs in his second season, sourness started seeping in between the duo. The Spurs decided to punish their All-NBA forward for “insubordination” – for sitting on the floor with his shoes off during a timeout.

And if that didn’t do it, Playoff failure in the subsequent round in 1995 triggered tantrums from the forward. After being dominated by Hakeem Olajuwon, the Worm created quite the mess at San Antonio, trashing the entire organization from coach to GM in a fit.

And an organization as strict as the San Antonio Spurs wasn’t going to take any of that from any player of theirs. The Spurs decided to part ways with their troublemaker and moved him to the Chicago Bulls.

The rest is history.
