“So is Travis Scott a Nets fan now?”: NBA fans call out the Houston rapper for being a bandwagon fan after being seen rooting for James Harden and co in Game 1
Travis Scott is seen rooting for James Harden in Game 1 of Nets-Bucks, urging NBA fans to take to social media and call him a bandwagon fan.
James Harden is known to run in circles that feature some of the biggest artists in the world. Most notably, the 2018 MVP spent rapper Lil Baby’s birthday with him and even created a viral video of gifting him a bag of honey buns and a Prada bag. This was of course the same video that Houston fans scrutinized as they claimed he was out partying with rappers instead of heading to practice.
However, in his time with the Houston Rockets, James Harden also became quite close with the Houston-based rapper, Travis Scott. Scott has been spotted cheering on for Harden at multiple games in both the regular season and the Playoffs while the ‘Beard’ was still in Houston.
The Astroworld artist even shouted Harden out on his 2016 song, ‘way back’ with the bar, “James Harden with the range on me.”
Travis Scott is accused of being a bandwagon fan after seen rooting for James Harden on the Nets.
NBA fans online were quick to notice that Travis Scott had courtside seats to the Nets-Bucks game last night. The camera even panned to Scott, which warranted an ecstatic reaction from him. However, his presence seemed to irk a couple fans as they claimed he was a bandwagon fan as he’s rooting for teams not named the Houston Rockets.
Umm…he’s a Nets fan now I see..or is it harden? 😂

As explained before, Scott and Harden share a great friendship with one another. It’s obvious that with the Rockets not in the Playoffs, he would come out to support his friend.
The cheering didn’t last long however as James Harden left the game merely 43 second into the bout after suffering a strained hamstring. It’ll be interesting to see if Travis Scott comes through to root for the Nets if the ‘Beard’ is ruled out for Game 2.
