“Stephen A Smith Doesn’t Have One Athletic Bone in His Body”: Former Knicks Guard Annihilated $16 Million Worth ESPN Analyst For ‘Speaking About Ball’

There are several non-athlete “experts” who have made it to the top of the food chain in the media industry by speaking complete garbage about their targeted legends of the game. One of them is ESPN’s, Stephen A Smith.

The man earns over $8 million a year for speaking his mind out on one of the biggest television platforms for sports. Be it basketball, football, or combat sports, the $16 million worth analyst has for years been one of ESPN’s loudest voices.

But when you listen to an athlete’s opinion about Smith’s views, you would know how much really is the worth of this so-called analyst’s perspective. Stephon Marbury is one of those countless athletes.

Stephon Marbury destroyed Stephen A Smith for speaking basketball

Draymond Green might have pleased Stephen A by calling him one of the few journalists who could be the ‘New Media’, but it does mean that every basketball likes Smith and respects his basketball knowledge and views.

The man anyway hardly talks about the game these days. And hence, the former Knicks guard, who was one of the best and most underrated guards in the league during the late 90s and 2000s, recently decided it’s time to put a stop to him.

This isn’t the first time Marbury went off on Smith. He has been consistently thrashing Stephen A. for matters involving Kyrie Irving. However, this latest attack of the former sensational guard of the Knicks on Smith isn’t too off.

Smith’s basketball career

Smith did play college basketball and supposedly suffered massive injuries during his time at Winston-Salem State University playing as a point guard.

But nothing can be an excuse for a horrific stat line of 1.5 points and 1 assist per game. That’s what Stephen A Smith averaged during his time at college.

Basketball fans might like him or not, he must have been the favorite of the scorekeepers. They might be the only people in the world who never got troubled by him.

We can criticize him all we want, but that man has established himself as one of the top names in sports media. His ways of getting viewership might be ugly, but that’s what works. And many have taken his way since he became as big a headliner as the athletes themselves.
