Steph Curry releases an interesting statement on how he might be involved in Drake tearing his ACL.
Canadian rapper Drake is best known around the NBA world for his antics on the sidelines of NBA games. He was famously present on the sidelines of almost all of the Toronto Raptors games in the 2019 Playoffs.

He owns a percentage of stake in the Raptors so he is technically allowed to roam about freely on the sidelines, but Drake makes sure his presence is felt. Whether it’s trash-talking Kevin Durant or Giannis, it makes for very entertaining content.
Off the court, he is actually very much involved with a multitude of players around the league. Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Steph Curry, to name a few, are on great terms with the Platinum recording artist.
NBA prospects such high school sophomore Mikey Williams are also in touch with him.
Steph Curry hoops with Drake and may have been responsible for his torn ACL.
Drake is an avid hooper and even has his own basketball court at his $100 million OVO mansion. He regularly hits the hardwood with NBA player in private runs.
In a particular run a while back, Drake tore his ACL, while playing alongside Golden State Warrior Steph Curry. Drake reportedly underwent successful knee surgery back in November.

When asked about Drake’s injury, Steph gave a particularly starge reply. He said, “Maybe it might show up in the new album coming out. We’ll see if he drops a lyric or a line or something on what actually happened.”
This was of course a response that could be interpreted in many ways. One rumor that was circulating was that Drake tore his ACL trying to guard the 3x champ himself, but couldn’t keep up.
If this is the case, it wouldn’t be a surprise if his was addressed in ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
