"Stephen Curry is harnessing his butt strength": NBA Fans can't believe the Warriors superstar's stunning stats since returning from a tailbone injury

Warriors’ superstar Stephen Curry continues his hot form, as he leads the Warriors to a 136-97 win with his 49 point performance

The Golden State Warriors managed to win the crucial game against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. The 8th seeded Warriors won their matchup tonight, so did the 9th seeded Grizzlies. With the win, the Warriors managed to take a half-game lead over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Dubs beat the Thunder 136-97 and completed the sweep of the season series. Stephen Curry once again led the way, scoring 49 points while making 11 3 pointers. Draymond Green recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 assists.

En route to the win, the Warriors broke their franchise record of most 3 pointers made in a single game. The previous set record of 24 3s had been matched thrice before, but tonight the Warriors finally surpassed it and set the new record at 27.

Stephen Curry keeps making and breaking records

The 2020-21 season has been one of the most impressive seasons Stephen Curry has had in his career. Despite missing a few games due to injury, and playing with an injured tailbone, Steph has looked unstoppable ever since the All-Star break.

Curry record two quarters this game where he scored 20 or more points(1st and 3rd). This marks the 34th time he has done it in his career. 19 of those 34 have come in the 3rd quarter.

Steph now has scored 30 or more points in 19 out of his last 21 games. He has scored 30 or more points in 20 games post the All-Star break, which is the most since Kobe Bryant(2005-2006 season). Tonight marked the 4th time this season Curry made 11 3s or more. Curry has 12 such games in his career to his name. The most games any other player has with 11 made 3s or more is 2(Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard).

The Warriors would need Curry to stay hot, as they are bound to face the Jazz and the Suns on back-to-back nights for their next two games.
