Stephen Curry is a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. His contributions to transcending the sport of basketball by placing emphasis on the three-point shot will define the league for generations to come.

The 34-year-old set the NBA record for the most number of three-pointers made in NBA history, when he hit a three-pointer at Madison Square Garden, against the New York Knicks in 2021.
Curry surpassed Ray Allen’s tally of 2973 threes made. He cemented himself as the greatest shooter, with years of mileage still remaining in his tank.
Curry, for all his remarkable shooting prowess, is often overlooked regarding his ability to dictate play. The Golden State Warriors talisman has an average of 6.5 assists per game over his career. For someone who is relied on chiefly for their scoring, this is an incredible feat.
Nonetheless, the Chef has pulled out different weapons from his varied arsenal on multiple occasions, when it comes to the art of playmaking. In fact a certain pass of his left two-time NBA champion, Isiah Thomas awestruck.
Stephen Curry leaves Isiah Thomas astonished over a pass!
Isaiah Thomas is without a doubt one of the foremost point guards in NBA history. The former Detroit Pistons protagonist had set the standard for future generations when he overcame the strenuous challenges of Larry Bird, Magic Jonhson, and Michael Jordan.
Although he was primarily a scorer, Thomas was adept at running the point efficiently as well. Drawing plays and dishing dimes for his teammates.
When the 12-time NBA All-Star was shown a clip of Curry making a mesmerizing pass though, he was ecstatic. In the 2018/2019 season, the Warriors paid a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers.
It was there that Curry set the NBA ablaze with a breathtaking behind-the-back pass to Kevin Durant. Durant went on to score the basket with a thunderous dunk.
Reacting to the pass, Isiah Thomas said:
“Lord have mercy..Everytime he plays, I have to stop, watch, get me some popcorn..Steph Curry must see TV every time he plays for me.”
The highest of praise for Curry from a basketball icon paved the way for him.
Will Curry eclipse LeBron James’ championship tally?
When the Golden State Warriors clinched the NBA championship in 2022, it was bedlam in San Francisco. The Warriors dynasty core had just captured their fourth NBA title within the span of eight years.
Stephen Curry essentially leveled LeBron James’ championship tally with the victory. Although the circumstances were drastically different for the pair, Curry’s accomplishment is unparalleled considering the fact that he stuck with the franchise when the going got tough.
The Dubs, however, have had an abysmal start to the 2022/2023 campaign. While many are of the belief that this is due to a ‘championship hangover’ there are other scenarios in play such as injuries, internal issues, etc.
With that being said, any franchise that possesses a talent such as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are championship contender as long as the pair are healthy.
It’s difficult to say whether or not Curry will surpass James’ tally of NBA rings, but suffice it to say, it would not be smart to rule it out.
