"Not even Klay Thompson can knock down these shots Stephen Curry hits so effortlessly": Viral video of the Warriors MVP hitting high-arching bombs leave NBA Twitter in awe

According to sources, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors “will soon be agreeing” to a whopping 4-year, $215 million contract extension.

Stephen Curry is one of the greatest point guards to grace the league. Some would even argue that the Golden State Warriors leader is the best shooter in NBA history, and they might actually be right. What the Oakland hero has achieved over the past 12 years is only a testament to his greatness.

Even in his 12th NBA season, the 6-foot-3 sharpshooter torched the league on fire. Scoring 40-bombs at will, Curry was practically unstoppable. However, even after clinching his 2nd scoring championship, Curry wasn’t quite able to lead the Warriors team into the postseason.

Although, credits have to be given where due. While leading a fairly inexperienced group of young guys, Steph put up a league-best 32 points. Which went along with 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game, on an astonishing 48/42/91 shooting splits. Oh, and Curry managed to do this all while playing on a broken tailbone.

Back in 2017, The Baby Faced Assassin had signed a massive 5-year, $201 million max contract extension with the Warriors. Curry, who is used to creating history, could very well be the first NBA player ever to sign back-to-back $200 million deals.

NBA Twitter goes crazy as the Golden State Warriors are expected to sign Stephen Curry 4-year, $215 million contract

Yes, you read that correctly. According to reporter Marc Stein, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors “will soon be agreeing” on an incredible 4-year, $215 million contract extension. $54 million a year for a player in his mid-thirties is a lot. However, even at age 33, Stephen is playing at an MVP level, with still a lot of tank left in his gas.

NBA Twitter went absolutely insane after the rumours of Stephen Curry and his new contract went viral.

Coming off their 2nd consecutive season where they were unable to make the postseason, with Klay Thompson expected to play next season, Stephen Curry will hope to finally lead his Warriors team to the playoffs after a 2-year drought. Definitely, this is great news for Warriors fans who will see a lot more of Steph knock down many more long-distance shots in the coming four years for Golden State, while hoping to bring a few more championships to the city.
