Laura Ingraham mocks LeBron James

Laura Ingraham, who infamously asked NBA players to shut up and dribble, is under the scanner again after making light of the NBA boycott.

The Fox News host first came into the spotlight when in February 2018, she said it would be a bad decision to listen to political discourse from people who ‘got paid $100 million to bounce a ball’.

She received tons of flak for her insincere comments back then. The NBA’s resumption following a 2-day boycott has provided her the perfect opportunity to get back at NBA players. And her aim in targeting LeBron James in her latest article seems to be just that.

Laura Ingraham flames LeBron James for 24-hour boycott

As is usual for journalists at the conservative news channel, Fox News host Laura Ingraham once again expressed her dismay at sportspeople making political statements. Her snide remark was reminiscent of the time she wanted LeBron James and Kevin Durant to ‘shut up and dribble’.

Despite sharing the article, Ingraham conveniently glosses over the part where it is described how it was mostly the Bucks’ decision to boycott their game that put pressure on their peers. In her haste to gain political mileage by blaming ‘jocks’, she trivializes the incident of police brutality that spurred this whole hoopla.

Ingraham is a known Conservative-leaning journalist who in the past has been unable to take her political bias out of her journalism. She has been furthering Donald Trump’s misinformation and agendas by posing meaningless questions on her show and sowing doubts in the minds of the average American.
