Miami Heat veteran Dwyane Wade shares an important basketball lesson that the late Kobe Bryant taught him.

A Round With Tiger, featuring some of the biggest stars from the world of sports and entertainment, who get a chance to play with the all-time great Tiger Woods.

The latest episode had 3x NBA champion Dwyane Wade as a special guest on the show. Wade and Woods got into an intense discussion while talking about the similarities between their individual sports.

D-Wade seemed eager to learn some tips from the gold legend. The two spoke at length about the technicalities of golf, including different spots and angles.

The Miami Heat legend, while talking about angles and spots, could not help but talk about the advice Lakers legend Kobe Bryant gave him revolving around the same technicalities but in the sport of basketball.

D-Wade and Kobe Bryant shared a great relationship. The former has often stated how the Black Mamba’s work ethic motivated him in his own game.

During a portion of the episode, Wade and Woods discuss the spots and angles in golf. The Miami Heat legend touches upon a similar aspect of technicalities in the sport of basketball as well.

D-Wade does not forget to mention the late Kobe Bryant while talking about this,

“That’s crazy because like on the basketball court, I learned this from Kobe,” Wade said while talking about Lakers icon, “Kobe played spots. So he would know, OK, like the elbow.”

Wade added,

“You need to get there, right? He knew if I get to that spot right there that’s a money spot for me. So I need to get there. And he wasn’t looking at the rim. He was looking at the spot.”

“He just gets to the spot. And he knew if he gets to the spot, that it was cash. It’s crazy. So I learned that from him. I was like, OK, so he played angles, he played spots. Now I started playing angles and spots.”
