"The NBA is Lucky Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal Never...": Shaq Passionately Makes His Case For How Scary he and Bulls Legend Would've Been

Shaquille O’Neal was in the NBA for 19 years, with his most memorable years coming when he was the biggest star on the LA Lakers. During his time there, the big man teamed up with a certain Kobe Bryant to form the most iconic NBA duo of all time. And as many know already by now, they won three back-to-back titles together. But, that was still a young Kobe, still making a few naïve decisions, and not even close to his prime yet. Instead, what would happen if Shaquille O’Neal teamed up with Michael Jordan during his prime years? It appears there is a little sample available of it, something Shaq proudly shared on his Instagram story very recently.

In fact, not only did he post one story on this, but apparently, he felt so sure of his opinion, that he felt he just had to double up on it. Let’s dive right in on what’s going on here, shall we?

Shaquille O’Neal’s first IG story

Shaquille O’Neal has been on a bit of an Instagram story streak. Every day, the Big Diesel decides to share absolutely everything that amuses him. And oftentimes, it ends up being pretty amusing in general too.

As you probably guessed already, a recent Instagram story of Shaq’s was no exception, one that you can also see in the tweet by Tonoy Sengupta below, alongside. of course, the original post by timeout hoops.

“The NBA is lucky that MJ (Michael Jordan) and Shaq (Shaquille O’Neal) never teamed up.

On its own, this seems to be a pretty interesting proposition. However, much to Shaq’s apparent delight, things don’t stop there. To explain that, we’ll have to get into O’Neal’s second IG story.

Shaquille O’Neal’s second IG story

Shaquille O’Neal seemed to love this Instagram post. Not only did the man repost it once on his story, he did it yet again, just to show off the second part of it. You can check out the screenshot of his second story in the tweet below by Tonoy Sengupta, along with the original post by timeout hoops right below it.

Frankly, we do think that duo with Michael Jordan would only really be as good as his team-up with Kobe Bryant. At the end of the day, they were similar players. Further, there would likely be the same issues too, considering MJ was just as big of a stickler of working out, as Kobe. But then again, that is just speculation. Who knows how this could’ve really turned out.
