The Western Conference semi-final series between the Lakers and the Warriors has been thoroughly entertaining and has lived up to its expectations. The Lakers hold a 2-1 lead over the Warriors heading into Game 4 of the series on Monday. Skip Bayless believes Anthony Davis is too hot for the Warriors to handle.

The series between two star-studded franchises has been a roller-coaster ride to date and promises a lot more going forward. The Lakers came out swinging in Game 1, beating the Warriors in a game that went down to the wire. The Warriors responded in Game 2 and defeated the visiting team by 27 points.
Game 3 was probably the most surprising of the series. Anthony Davis had a performance for the ages, and despite being down 11 points in the second quarter, the big man turned the pages around to thump the Warriors by 30 points. Stephen Curry and their team are now faced with a must-win game to keep their hopes alive.
Skip Bayless believes the Lakers will knock out the Warriors in 5 games
The co-host of the show ‘Undisputed with Skip and Shannon‘ – Skip Bayless has predicted the Lakers to win the series in five games. He displayed no confidence in the defending champions while giving his analysis on the show and said:
“Your Lakers are just better than Golden State who have been flawed all season very long. I have amended to Lakers in 5 and I believe they are going to win the next two games becuae they are better, tougher, deeper, more physical and have no answer for Anthony Davis.”
“The Lakers are just better, tougher and deeper than Golden State. Lakers in 5. Warriors have NO answer for Anthony Davis, unless he no-shows.”

Anthony Davis, who had been dealing with injuries and inconsistent performances since the 2020 championship, has found another gear and is playing the best basketball of his career. He has been an absolute menace in the paint, both on offense and defense. The Warriors’ lack of size has not helped their cause, and at this point, they don’t seem to have an answer.
How can the Warriors win Game Four of the series?
There is no denying the ability of the Golden State Warriors team and the immense offensive talent they possess, but their lack of size is starting to hurt them, and they can’t seem to contain Davis. Despite the visible flaws, the Warriors have shown they can beat them. The blueprint for victory is readily available – Limit the fouls and turnovers.
It is as simple as it sounds. Fouling and turnovers have been the Achilles heel of the team all season. On the road, it seems to get worse. In Game 3 of the series, the Warriors gave away 37 free throws and had 19 turnovers. This makes it difficult for the team to get any momentum and slows the game down. For a team that is lethal in transition, they are forced to play against a set defense.
Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins need to do more on offense to help the Splash Brothers. Wiggins has not been as impactful as he can be on offense scoring 14 PPG, while Jordan Poole has just been a disaster at 10.7 PPG. Steve Kerr will hope for his role players to support the stars to avoid going down 3-1 in the series.
