“This is EMBARRASSING“: LeBron James and Co Get Blasted by Shannon Sharpe For Poor Show Against Suns’ Second Unit

We are almost at the end of the 2022-23 regular season, and the Los Angeles Lakers continue to disappoint fans and experts alike. After a pathetic start to their campaign to a significantly good comeback towards the end, LeBron James and Co still cannot catch a break in their tumultuous season.

They were 7-2 in their last eight games but were just coming off a loss against the Clippers when they faced the Suns Friday night. With the Phoenix team resting all its players from the starting-5, it should have been a game that the Lakers would put a full stop to at halftime and rest its important players

However, the game was at 61-60 at the end of the second half. Although the Lakers were in the lead, one of James’ biggest fans, Shannon Sharpe, was not happy about what he was witnessing.

Shannon Sharpe loses his cool on LeBron James and the Lakers yet again

From getting shout-outs for being a title contender to almost failing to put away the second unit of another contender, the Purple and Gold team came under the hammer of FS1 analyst Shannon Sharpe before they took control of the game later on.

“This is EMBARRASSING,” Sharpe Tweeted as the Lakers were letting the Suns back into the game while bricking almost everything they could off of their chances.

The way they were playing it looked like they want to tank. But they did put it to rest (121-107) by the final quarter of the game with LBJ and AD both on the floor.

This isn’t the first time the NFL legend has had some words for his favorite athlete for whom he has gone to lengths in numerous GOAT debates against his UNDISPUTED studio partner Skip Bayless and several other analysts and former athletes.

He sent out a Tweet just a couple of days back as well after the Lakers had lost the game against their across-the-hall rivals.

May the man get what he wants as soon as possible.

What can the Lakers do in the Playoffs?

As things stand, with their latest victory, the Lakers are tied with the New Orleans Pelicans at 42-39. That has them 8th in the West, which is where they will probably finish their 2022-23 regular season.

Now if that happens, they will be playing the Wolves in the Play-in tournament and would need to win one game before Anthony Edwards’ team wins two.

If they do win one and get past the Wolves they will face the #1 seed of the West, the Denver Nuggets. Where they go from there, we will have to wait and watch.
