Trinity Rodman announces 'plot twist' as Dennis Rodman's son DJ Rodman joins LeBron James' son Bronny James at USC

Bronny James committing to USC has been the talk of the town these past few days, and his father LeBron James could not be more proud. In another recent declaration to USC, former Bulls legend Dennis Rodman‘s son DJ Rodman also announced his transfer to the University of Southern California, with a little help from his sister, Trinity Rodman.

The USC Trojans are set to get a lot of media attention this coming season, with the children of NBA superstars joining their ranks. This a massive boon, considering USC has not seen much success in the NCAA tournament recently, even losing in the first round to Michigan State in 2023.

Bronny and DJ, with dreams of playing in the NBA like their fathers, will be looking to make an impact on the scouts and have the perfect stage to do so. And with LeBron James expressing the desire to play in the NBA alongside his son, his wish could soon become a reality.

DJ Rodman’s sister announces DJ Rodman’s move to USC on Instagram

Trinity Rodman took to Instagram to post a story about his brother transferring to USC from Washington State University. He played with the Cougars for four seasons, averaging 5.5 points, and 4 rebounds per game. The 2023 season was his best performance, as he averaged a career-high 9.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in 31 games for the team.

In a surprising turn of events, three days after the announcement by Bronny, DJ also decides to join him. At 6ft 5inch, DJ plays the forward position and can do a little bit of everything. Though his numbers do not pop out on the stat sheet, he has a good-looking jumper and can shoot at a decent clip. Despite his lack of size, he can rebound the ball well and impact the game.

Bronny playing the point guard position at 6ft 3in, will be looking to develop a rapport with his teammates at USC and help them navigate the game on the offensive end of the floor. Both the players are known to play very good defense too. Overall, it’s going to be interesting to see how the chemistry shapes up between them.

Will Dennis Rodman calling out LeBron James impact the children?

Dennis Rodman was a defensive menace on the floor and was unfazed by any opposition. He faced them all on his way to winning five championships, more than even LeBron James at the time of writing.

Rodman is known for speaking his mind and once even called out LeBron James for not having a bag of moves. He even claimed that locking James up would be child’s play for the likes of him and Scottie Pippen. Just a reminder, this is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time he talked about.

Though the statements are lost in the past, the chemistry on the floor between DJ and Bronny will depend a lot on how their relationship progresses. The last thing a team would want is for conflicts to arise due to the history between their superstar fathers. Nonetheless, the USC coach will have his hands full managing the team in the coming season with all the media attention. We wish the best of luck to you, Andy Enfield.
