“Want to Feel Strong in My Skin!”: Ayesha Curry, After Helping 500 Families on Christmas With Stephen Curry, Shared New Year’s Resolutions
The Bay Area drafted a skinny kid from Davidson in 2009. Over the last 13 years, that skinny kid grew to become the most beloved figure in the Bay. Stephen Curry has brought success to the Warriors like no one before, and the fans love him for it. The one person who’s been with him through his ups and downs has been none other than his wife, Ayesha Curry.
Over the years, they grew up together in the Bay, tied the knot, and are now parents to three wonderful children. They have two daughters, Riley(10), Ryan(7), and Canon(4). Despite their busy schedules, Steph and Ayesha have also always found a way to keep their health their priority.
As we start 2023, Ayesha Curry shared what her goals for the year are.

Ayesha Curry wants to build muscle this year
Over the last couple of years, Ayesha Curry has been on a fitness journey. Talking to PEOPLE magazine, the 33-year-old celebrity chef and author said,
“I’ve kind of been going through a health journey for the past three years now. I’m into manifesting and writing things down and setting my intentions and goals. I am obsessed with that and I find that it really works for me, being able to visibly see things.”
Talking about the new year, she shared that she’s more of a monthly resolution girl instead of a yearly one. Ayesha then listed out her goals for the month of January.
“One of my big resolutions for January is going to be to build a little bit of lean muscle. I’ve lost 35 lbs. over the past year, which I’m really excited about, but now I want that definition and I want to feel strong in my skin.”
The biggest lesson we need to take from Ayesha here is how not to get lost in comparing our journey to others. She explains how she makes sure that she doesn’t compare herself to her husband, Stephen Curry.
“I’m married to a high-performance athlete who does it all. And I think I had to be honest with myself and realize that I can’t do that and I don’t have to do that to see the results that I want to see. I kind of had this inner competition that didn’t exist. And so I was almost always defeated in whatever it was that I was doing because I couldn’t do it to that level. I think I had to take a second, take a deep breath and just realize, do what you can and that’s enough.”
Steph and Ayesha helped 500 families over the Christmas
This Christmas, the Currys were busy doing something they’ve been doing for the past decade. Through their Eat. Learn. Play. foundation, Steph and Ayesha helped 500 families celebrate Christmas. Each family received almost $2000 worth of clothing, food, supplies, and gifts.
More than the monetary aspect, it’s a way for the Currys to share the gift of giving and pass it on to the children.
