Wanting To Be More Than Just Michael Jordan's Son, Marcus Jordan Equates His ‘Trophy Room’ To Having Kids With Larsa Pippen

Being a basketball superstar like Michael Jordan’s son is tough. And Marcus Jordan has felt all the pressure and expectations laid on him. Growing up, he was expected to live up to his father’s legacy in basketball. However, he chose a different path with his business project called the Trophy Room. The Trophy Room is an upscale Air Jordan boutique store that he holds close to his heart and equates to having kids with his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen.

Marcus opened his first Trophy Room store in Orlando, Florida, which offers exclusive sneakers in collaboration with top brands. The store offers some exquisite memorabilia from Nike’s Air Jordan and other luxury sneakers from the Jordan brand.

Marcus Jordan considers his project Trophy Room as his ‘baby’ with Larsa Pippen

In the latest episode of Separation Anxiety, Marcus Jordan discusses his plans to raise kids with his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen. The couple further spoke about their 15-year age gap and the added responsibilities Larsa has as a mother of four children. Marcus, who has not had the experience of raising a child yet, equated his business project Trophy Room, his child with Larsa Pippen. He added:

“For me, I have always viewed, my boutique as my baby. I was always of the mindset that I wanted to establish my own name, outside of being Michael Jordan’s son. And for me, Trophy Room gave me that opportunity, as my business. And so, I have always nurtured and treated it as my child. Obviously, it’s not the same as having an actual baby. But it has occupied all of my time. ”

Marcus Jordan has also tried his hand at basketball, following in his father’s footsteps. However, his lack of interest in playing professionally has resulted in his withdrawal from the game. Marcus is successful as a business tycoon and has a growing reputation in the sneaker industry beyond his identity as Michael Jordan’s son.

Larsa Pippen and Jordan shrug off the Jordan-Pippen rivalry with their relationship

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen started growing animosity toward each other after the release of The Last Dance. However, Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are trying to shrug off that rivalry to make a separate identity from their relationship.

They are pretty active on social media, often posting affectionate pictures and sharing intimate details about each other. Larsa Pippen has also remarked in the podcast, “We’re not letting our last names get in the way of our love.” Indeed, the couple’s love and romance transcend beyond family feuds and transgressions against all odds.
