Dillon Brooks is not the NBA’s favorite player right now. And for some reason, he is especially hated in California. While the Kings don’t seem to care too much, the Warriors and the Lakers seem to despise this man. And at first, all the anger seems a bit excessive. But then, you see the kind of things Brooks has done for fun. And suddenly it all starts to make perfect sense. For example, here is what he recently had to say about LeBron James.

Saying that about LeBron James is wild. But that is Dillon Brooks. And frankly, while it’s hard to like the player, we do love the persona he has taken over for the NBA. After all, there is nothing that brings the NBA together more than someone that makes you want to crush them but is pretty darn good themself.
That said, there are repercussions to this too. At the end of the day, if you’re Dillon Brooks, you can essentially forget about opposing teams ever even wanting to tolerate you. And well, the Lakers aren’t different on that one, as they showed off with a savage little display ahead of game 3. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

LeBron James is a man who has achieved just about everything the NBA has to offer for an individual player. In fact, his list of achievements is so crazy, it’s a bit harsh on any current player to ever compare their achievements to his. And yet, that is exactly what the Lakers did. Yikes. And of course, the Lakers’ organization is stupid. They know exactly what they’re doing on this one. And sure, this is the point where most Grizzlies fans would probably say that Brooks is still just 27 years old. However, he is the one that started this fight. You shouldn’t dish it out if you can’t take it.
