WATCH: LeBron James Brings Forth Russell Westbrook Nostalgia, Bricks the Ball Beautifully on the Side of the Backboard

LeBron James is one of those players that is always going to have the world’s eyes on him. Of course, the biggest reason for that is his continued brilliance over the years. And so, as you’d expect, fans only want to see more of whatever he has got going on. But that said, it also means that all mistakes are far better highlighted too.

Over the years, quite a few James memes have been accumulating, with the man’s every mistake, overreaction, and just about everything else being laughed at boomingly by absolutely everyone watching on. And against the Phoenix Suns, we believe the man may have had yet another one of those moments once again.

But there is a difference here. After all, this wasn’t just any kind of mistake. No, this was one that exemplified just how much he missed a former teammate.

LeBron James pulls off Russell Westbrook’s former special move against the Phoenix Suns

It’s no secret that Russell Westbrook never quite settled with the Lakers. That is the reason he moved to the Clippers after all. However, not many have been able to forget his time there. At the end of the day, the man was pulling off moments like these on a daily basis.

However, the Lakers are a far better team today, and he isn’t around anymore. And perhaps, on some level, that hurt LeBron James. So, what did he do next, you ask? Well, in a pivotal game in the West, the man decided to throw up a silent tribute to Russell Westbrook.

The only thing really missing from this clip is James shouting “Come back to us already!”. But somehow, we feel like he will never admit it. Ah, these big men and their massive egos. It will always be the death of them.
