Of course, in the NBA, their relationship has been well documented. First a sort of brotherly relationship that soon turned into a burning rivalry for several years.
Despite this though, many have wondered how the two players see the other in a more personal sense. And we got the answer to just that from Stephen Curry his post-game interview.
Stephen Curry explains what his relationship with LeBron James has been like
The Warriors recently faced off against the Lakers. And as many expected, the game ended in the reigning champions blowing out their opposition with barely any trouble.
After the game, Stephen Curry was asked by Clutch Points what the relationship between him and the King is like. This is what the greatest shooter of all time had to say.
“Respect is always there…you have a situation where it’s not just me and him (LeBron James). It’s obviously its team’s going at each other and your competing year after year after year, and you get to see up close and personal greatness, and I think he will say the same thing.”
He continued on the matter.
“There’s obviously a lot of pettiness and competitiveness, trash-talking and all that type of stuff that went on during those runs, but that’s the fun of it all…like you said, the respect level is always there, and the appreciation of competition at that level. Obviously, the goal now is to get back there.”

It’s no surprise that the two all-time greats have so much respect for each other, while also having the competitive spirit to talk smack. Still, to have Stephen Curry come right out and admit there is some trash talk rather than go for a diplomatic answer will definitely give countless fans some much-needed satisfaction on the matter.
