Paul George has sent a strong message with his performances in the recent Clippers’ back-to-back wins at the Staples center

The LA Clippers finished the regular season with a 47-25 record. The Clippers clinched the Playoff spot as the 4th seed in the Western Conference. They had 26 of their 47 wins at home this season. Paul George averaged 23.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 5.2 APG in the 54 regular-season games he played. PG 13 was an extraordinary 46.7% from the field and 41.1% from the 3-point line. George had 13 games with 30+ points this season.
During PG 13 and Kawhi’s first season with the Clippers, the team won 27 of the 36 games they played at home. Though George played in only 17 of those home games he had zero losses and averaged 22.8 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 3.7 APG, and had 1.2 SPG. George was more determined than ever going into his 2nd season with the Clippers due to his poor performance at the Orlando Bubble. PG 13 played 21 0f the 36 home games and had a flawless 100% record with zero losses at home.
The 7x NBA All-Star averaged 22.7 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 6.0 APG, and had 1.2 SPG. George shot a remarkable 50.5% from the field and was 48.6% from the 3-point line.
Paul George talks about the importance of defending the home court
The LA Clippers recently beat the Jazz twice in a row at Staples Center. This brought the Clippers back in the series, and it is now tied at 2 apiece, heading back to Salt Lake City. Paul George recently stated how he wanted to protect the home court.
PG 13 emphasized winning at home, stating: “We have to protect home court. This has to be a feared place. When people step into this arena, they should be feared.”
George has been exceptional in the last 2 games playoff games at the Staples Center. The 7x NBA All-Star had back-to-back 30 point games and shot over 45% from the field and 40% from the 3-point line in both the games.

George and Leonard recently became the 3rd duo in NBA history to each score 20+ points in their team’s first 11 games of the post-season. George was recently announced All-NBA Third Team, while his teammate Kawhi Leonard was honored with All-NBA First Team.
