"We Messed Up": Shaquille O'Neal Shares 'Mugshot' Of Himself After '100s of Dudes' Go Crazy at a 'DJ Diesel' Concert

LA Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal is well-known for his wide range of talents. Apart from being a legendary player and analyst, Shaq is also a philanthropist, a DJ, and a bit of a musician. O’Neal performs as a DJ under his moniker “DJ Diesel,” and regularly posts updates on his social media channel. Recently, he posted a “mugshot” of himself along with a soundless clip of people raving at one of his performances. The short clip featured 100s of men and women going crazy inside a laser-lit club.

O’Neal’s antics as a DJ are in addition to a fledging music career that has seen him release 4 studio albums. His last album came out during his playing days, back in 1998, and is titled Respect. Since then, he has only worked on compilations and also has 2 individual soundtracks.

Shaquille O’Neal posts video of raging concert with 100s of people

O’Neal received considerable success via his music albums. His debut album Respect peaked at number 25 on Billboard 200, with subsequent releases also turning out to be successful.

He has recently switched to DJing, and regularly posts updates on his Instagram account. A recent post saw him post his own mugshot along with the following caption:

“We messed up….”

The post also included a soundless video of the actual concert, with 100s of people raving intensely during his performance. The concert took place at the Bootshaus Auenweg in Cologne, Germany on July 28th.

There is little doubt that the event was a huge success considering the crowd that attended. Despite making his fame in the NBA, Shaq has since obviously expanded to other fields as well. The humungous crowd goes to show that he has had incredible success as a DJ as well.

Shaq claimed DJing is like NBA Finals Game 7s

Shaquille O’Neal finished as a 4-time NBA champion and one of the most dominant players ever seen in the NBA. Shaq, therefore, knows a thing or two about the adrenaline and pressure that one feels during the biggest games.

However, he appears to have found the same feeling via DJing. O’Neal once claimed that DJing gave him the same kind of adrenaline rush that a 1-hour NBA Finals Game 7 would give him.

He claimed that it was his duty to give those who have paid for tickets “one hell of a show.” There is little doubt that he completely follows that philosophy, as evidenced by the crowded but intense video he posted on Instagram.
