LeBron James takes to Twitter to express his love for the time when Barack Obama was inaugurated as President of the United States.

LeBron James is perhaps one of the most influential personalities in not just the United States, but all over the globe. Having such notoriety would mean that you run in circles that consist of people that are equally, if not more, as well known as you are.

James has said time and time again that he is a supporter of the Democratic Party. His allegiance to President Barack Obama is a natural consequence of this. African-Americans usually vote blue in the USA.

LeBron and President Obama have become close associates of one another. They’ve been building this ever since the latter officially took the Oval Office in 2009.

LeBron James reacts to a photo of him watching President Obama take office

The United States have just wrapped their 46th inauguration day for now President of the United States Joe Biden. Ahead of this occasion, the Twitter account Timeless Sports shared an image of LeBron James.

The photo was from nearly 12 years ago. It showed LeBron watching then President Barack Obama get inaugurated as the 44th President of the US. The photo also showed his eldest son Bronny and Bryce Maximus.

James was not in Cleveland during the auspicious day as the Cavaliers were on the road against the Blazers. LeBron James and Barack Obama have shared a multitude of moments with one another. Most notably was when the Heat and the Cavaliers visited the White House after winning 3 championships.

The Cavaliers were the last team to celebrate an NBA championship win in the White House. NBA players boycotted meeting with President Donald Trump once he took office.
