The Denver Nuggets have dominated the Western Conference and are now the NBA finalists for the first time. While Michael Porter Jr., Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Aaron Gordon, and other role players have been valuable with their contributions, the franchise has got to thank Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray for their performances. However, despite all their success, analysts often criticize them for their fitness levels. Leaving Murray baffled, Richard Jefferson was the recent-most personality who asked the guard about the pair’s physique.

After being crowned as the Western Conference champs, the Nuggets’ sharpshooter made an appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today. During the must-see interview, Jefferson asked the Canadian star several questions. However, one question was more peculiar than the others, leaving Jamal bewildered.

To begin the segment, the former NBA champ asked the 26-year-old to disclose who had more abs between him and the Joker. Richard asked:

“Who has more abs? You or Jokic?”

After a quick pause, the former Kentucky Wildcat chose not to answer the question. With a grin on his face, the 6-foot-4 guard said:

“Come on bro. Next question bro.”

As soon as the interview clip went viral on social media, NBA Twitter had various reactions to it.

There were several users who couldn’t help but notice the reaction Murray had when he first heard the question.

Another user hilariously predicted what the guard probably was saying in his mind.

Finally, a majority of the users found the question to be cringe and stated how NBA on TNT was much better than ESPN.

RJ just tried to be funny to begin the segment on a light note. Clearly, he failed to amuse most of the viewers.

Before parting ways in 2011, Carmelo Anthony spent 7 whole seasons with the Colorado-based franchise. Even though the Nuggets never lifted the championship, Melo did lead the squad to 1 WCF and 7 consecutive postseason appearances.

With the news of Anthony retiring, fans have been wondering which of the two stars’ #15 numbered jerseys would the Denver organization eventually retire – Carmelo or Jokic.

While several fans are in a tough dilemma, Murray has his clear pick. On the same NBA Today episode, he picked Jokic.

“That’s tough man. I’m going to go with my guy Jok.”

Of course, the Serbian star is still very much in his prime and has many more accolades to collect. By the conclusion of his career, the 6-foot-11 big man will likely have been rewarded with many more awards than Melo won during his stint with the Nuggets.
