It seems like Draymond Green has gotten his social media game down pat, judging from his response to the whole Devin Booker situation.

Green had implored the Suns star to demand a trade following his 5th year missing the playoffs in Phoenix. This came after the Suns went 8-0 in the DisneyWorld Bubble but still failed to make the postseason:
“It’s great to see Book playing well and Phoenix playing well, but get my man out of Phoenix. It’s not good for him. It’s not good for his career.”
“Sorry, Chuck. But they gotta get Book out of Phoenix. I need my man somewhere he can play great basketball all the time and win because he’s that type of player.”
His idea had gained a ton of traction at the time given the Suns’ terrible track record. However, James Jones, Monty Williams and the Suns front office has done an exemplary job since then. They traded Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr to acquire the Point God Chris Paul. The results are in front of us this year.
While Draymond has been dumped out of the playoff scene for a 2nd straight year, the Suns have just knocked the defending champion LA Lakers from this year’s playoffs in the first round.
At this juncture, the internet got on Draymond’s back for his ill-advised take in the bubble last year. Green didn’t exactly take it head on, but he addressed it well enough for the banter to go around.
Draymond Green has started a GoFundMe in response to Suns fans
Draymond posted the following update to his Twitter yesterday:
“Shoutout to all the Suns fans sending me what I said about Book. Y’all ungrateful a**es should be THANKING me. That day, they finally decided to get him some HELP. Love to see it!! I’m gonna start a Gofund me so y’all can show gratitude and pay my 50k back!”
It’s pretty safe to say that Draymond has played quite the Reverse Uno card on Suns fans.
