Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant went from one the most liked players in the league to a hated villain as soon as he left OKC for the Golden State Warriors.

Thunder fans were livid at the fact that he was pairing up with a team who had just beaten him in the playoffs, a team that went 73-9 the last year, a team that would be invincible for a few years.

All over, the reaction to Durant’s move was negative. There was nobody praising him for looking out for himself or being happy that he chose his own career path. No, there was only hatred. Durant was evil, and that was all there was to it.

Given the recent rumors regarding Damian Lillard being traded, many fans have said that he may or may not receive the KD treatment if he chooses to leave. Several replies later, KD was back on Twitter, roasting fans as he always does.

Kevin Durant Destroys Fans For Saying He Faked His Brutal Mistreatment

One fan had this to say about the Damian Lillard situation:

If you were following the NBA at the time Kevin Durant left, you would know that the league had adopted a very toxic stance towards his move, burning his jersey and much more. So, when this fan claimed that KD had simply made up this toxicity in his head, Durant had to respond.

He did it in a way that only Durant can, finding a way to destroy any notions of the take being true while also showing that he’s undefeated on social media by humiliating the fan.
