NED vs NZ Dream11 Prediction: Dream11 Fantasy Tips for Netherlands Vs New Zealand in FIH Pro League

Netherlands Vs New Zealand FIH Match Best Dream 11 Team: Last placed New Zealand come up against hurting Netherlands

In a match which could have helped them massively if they had managed to outdo Great Britain, Netherlands went down 3-1 after putting up a performance that completely unwarranted the situation. It was a debacle of a result for them, one which leaves them four points in pursuit of England now, albeit with a game in hand.

One side they would have loved to face off against though after that aberration is New Zealand though. They’ve been the worse side of this tournament and by some distance as well with the wins column epitomising just how poor they’ve been. It’s not the fact that they are yet to win a match after 9 but the manner in which they’ve been put down, refusing to heave the standards of their hockey throughout the tournament.

Previous Encounter

These two countries had squared off against each other way back in January when the tournament had made its onset upon us. In what was an absolute cracker of a 7 thriller back then, Netherlands had managed to show enough guile and trickery to hang onto their one goal lead in the closing minutes and see out New Zealand 4-3.

Probable Winner

No matter how hard we try to give New Zealand a chance of even making a meal of this match, the circumstances in which Netherlands will step out onto the field make this a precious ask for New Zealand. They’ve been in flabbergasting touch this season, a predicament which should continue when they take play after a gap of more than a month come Tuesday.

Averaging three goals per match, Netherlands who’ll be hurting and stung after their defeat at the hands of England will come hot out of the blocks against New Zealand. Expect this to be a performance from them which sees them cruise to a win in the end and bring themselves bright back into the reckoning for a top 4 spot.

Goal-Keeper for NED vs NZ Dream 11

The one obvious pick for us this match and this Netherland’s Sam Van Der Ven who is going to represent us for the encounter. We was amongst negative points last time around but picking New Zealand’s shot stopper is a big no for us and we expect Sam to restore parity between the sticks today.

Defenders for NED vs NZ Dream 11

We will continue picking of players from Netherlands, something which is going to be a dominant feature in our Dream 11 side for this particular contest. Their players will be taking precedence over New Zealand’s in all the facets and our 3 man defensive unit is going to see the two man partnership of Mink and Jonas de Gus from the Netherlands find a spot in our playing XI.

The one player from New Zealand comes in as well in the form of Kane Russel. To be a figure of reliance in a defence which has been cleaned out way too easily is something which speaks volumes about his capabilities and we’ll be entrusting him to do the job yet again.

Midfielders for NED vs NZ Dream 11

Billy Bakker is the one from Netherlands we see ourselves getting into our side in this department. The rest of the midfielders have been played around too much, shuffled at will but Arjen has recently been handed over regular playing time and he comes in for us

Meanwhile, New Zealand have a slew of choices to select from in this facet. It’s this department which has kept trying its bet, playing the cross field diagonal passes to attack along with tackling fortuitously to put on rampant showings consistently. Nick Woods, Shea Mcalsee are going to be our picks from the side for this encounter.

Forwards for NED vs NZ Dream 11

When you have a defence of the agonising identity of New Zealand playing against you, eve the poorest of sides are bound to get one past them. Netherlands will be licking their lips at the opportunity of improving their goal difference against NZ and leading the line for us will be Pruijser and Kellerman from their side.

We are going to select George Muir as well from New Zealand given the fact that Netherlands allowed three goals to be shipped past them in their previous encounter.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Striker Pruijser will be our captain from Netherlands while Bakker from their side is going to be our vice-captain.
