NED vs ZIM Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s Netherlands vs Zimbabwe 2nd ODI | TSR helps you with Dream 11.

A relatively young side in the cricketing world, having been accorded full member by the ICC only back in 2018, Netherlands have taken no time in showing why they are so strongly regarded among the upcoming international teams. Playing their first ever full ODI series against Zimbabwe, Netherlands took a 1-0 lead in the series on the back of a complete performance.

Outshining Zimbabwe with both the bat and ball, Netherlands emphasised the up rise the country, showing that they are on the right path of development when it comes to the sport. Restricting Zimbabwe to a meagre 205-8 while bowling first, Netherlands run chase was even more perfect. The entire top-order contributed, lead by Max’s 82 to decimate the visiting side by 7 wickets.

And the two sides are back at it today, facing off against each other for one last time in the 50 over format this two match series before they turn their attention to the T20 series. Netherlands will be looking to put forth another full fledged display and pummel a Zimbabwe side who have endured a horrendous time in the last year.

After failing to qualify for the ongoing ODI Cricket World Cup, Zimbabwe followed up the dejection with howlers against Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh. They were swept apart in each of the ODI series, failing to register a single win in between these 11 matches and would be looking to experienced campaigners Hamilton Masakazda and Brendan Taylor among others to help their level the series today.

NED vs ZIM Dream 11 Prediction

Wicket-keepers for NED vs ZIM Dream 11

His 71 run innings as wickets fell all around him, epitomised the immense importance Brendan Taylor holds for Zimbabwe. His selection in our side is without any doubts with the player coming in straightaway into our playing 11.

We have also opted for Tobias Visee from Netherlands given his quick fire innings of 28 in the opening slot. With 6 fours, it was an emphatic short little stay at the crease, one which ensured Zimbabwe were put under pressure right from the get go.

Batsmen for NED vs ZIM Dream 11

We’ll begin with selections from Zimbabwe first with Craig Ervine being the first player to be picked up by us. He might have failed to impress in the opening match but his 1030 runs in 22 innings this year speak for themselves. We fully envision him coming good for his side today and putting on a big partnership with Taylor.

Accompanying him is going to be returning opener Hamilton Masakazda. He was blown away by a terrific opening spell by pacer Klassen in the opening encounter but given the number of matches the batsman has played, we don’t see him getting worked up in the same manner this time as well.

From Netherlands, it’s Max O’Dowd who becomes our first pick from the side in this facet. We couldn’t have asked for a better debut, hitting a half-century in his first ever appearance for his country. The 82 from his bat eventually turned out to be a match winning effort, shutting the door on everything Zimbabwe tried to rile him up. Ben Cooper will be partnering him up for us.

All-rounders for NED vs ZIM Dream 11

We have decided to opt for two all-rounders here, the one from either side. Sean Williams from the Zimbabwean unit is one of the most astute all-rounders from both the contingents. His two wickets along with a small little contribution with the bat as well spoke volumes about his abilities as a worldclass player in the opening match.

From Netherlands we have decided to pick up Roelof Van Der Merwe. He was expensive with the ball the last time around but managed to pick up an important wicket and is more than assured to get his full quota of overs with the ball.

Bowlers for NED vs ZIM Dream 11

In between them, pacer Fred Klaasen and spinner Pieter Seelaar picked up four wickets among them, stalling Zimbabwe’s efforts with the bat. The two specialist bowlers were extremely economical as well, not giving away any room to the batsmen and are bound to snare up a good haul of wickets today as well.

It a two man partnership from Zimbabwe as well with Donald Tripano coming in not only due to his specialist abilities as a bowler but the expertise he displayed with the bat as well. The only other wicket taker from the first match, Ainsley Ndlovu wraps up our side.
