The side are by far the strongest team out of Singapore, Qatar, Kuwait and Malaysia and have justified the high expectations accorded from them with some stellar displays in recent times.
They defeated Malaysia in a two match T20 series recently, winning both the encounters T20 proceeding a triumph for their U19 side in the Asian Qualifiers. The track at this stadium is a glorious one for batting, one where the runs will pour down and given Nepal’s extremely strong batting line-up, expect them to canter to an extremely hefty total. This match has all the ingredients of being a trashing of Qatar and we fully envision Nepal doling out one.
Probable Winner
Expect this match to be as one-sided as they get. Qatar somehow managed to scramble together 153 against Singapore but against a Nepal bowling line-up one which is filled with exceptional spinners, we don’t see them putting on the same score in this one. Coupled with the identity of Nepal’s batting line-up, they should stamp their authority on the tournament and shine their credentials for topping the league stages on 28 July.

We have gone in with two wicket-keepers over here with the one from either side finding a place in our playing 11. Mohammed Rizlan comes in form Qatar after managing to be among the runs on Monday while we have gone ahead with Binod Bhandari as our pick from Nepal.

One of the four batsmen to have managed to score in excess of 20 for Qatar against Singapore, Faisal Javid Khan has been picked up by us from Qatar. Elsewhere we have opted for a two man partnership from Nepal in the form of Sharad Vesawkar and captain Paras Khadka given that the average score on this surface is 172 and that both the matches yesterday saw the better batting sides register momentous scores.
Nepal’s ascendancy has to be credited to these two players, names who know fully well what it takes to succeed at the highest level. They’ll be among the runs today as well and we are going to capitalise on it by getting them both in.

A mainstay in both the batting and bowling side for Nepal, the player has galvanised is side and is bound to emerge as one of the most instrumental performers from this tournament for them. Legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane is picked up by us with pacer Sandeep Kami. Sandeep has been a consistent performer for his side over the course of the last few series, always proving early inroads for the side with his brand of restrictive wicket to wicket bowling. Qatar had bound to crumble in this match and this duo should snare a good amount of wickets in between them.
