NFL Network’s Peter Schrager brought up Rodgers’ comments after Green Bay’s loss in the NFC Championship. He cast some doubt over his future in Green Bay, which left some Packers fans worried.
However, according to one of Rodgers’ favorite targets, Packers fans have nothing to worry about.
.@packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling on @gmfb @nflnetwork on QB Aaron Rodgers following the NFC Championship game loss: “Aaron is going to be Aaron. He’s not going to go anywhere. He is Green Bay. He is the definition of Green Bay. It was heartbreaking for everybody.”

“I talked to him right after the game, as we were packing up our lockers,” said MVS. “Like I said, Aaron’s going to be Aaron. He’s not going anywhere.”
“He wants to be a Packer for his whole life. Obviously there’s the business side of things, but you know, he is Green Bay. He is the definition of Green Bay.”
“And obviously losing in that fashion is heartbreaking. It would hurt anyone, it hurt me especially. Playing against my hometown team, and possibly playing in the Super Bowl right where I’m living right now.”

MVS on Aaron Jones: “Literally the Best Running Back in the League”
Valdes-Scantling also gave his 2 cents on his friend and Packers RB, Aaron Jones. He had the following to say:
“He’s literally one of the best running backs in the league, if not the best. He does the dirty work and makes all the plays. He’s the greatest guy around. I love him to death and will support him forever.” — GB WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (@MVS__11 ) on RB Aaron Jones on @GMFB

He also went on the explain that the pair are actually neighbors in Green Bay, so it would be unfortunate to lose that bond if Jones were to play for another team in 2021.
