Tom Brady hits a new milestone in the form of a latest docu-series produced by his 199 Productions and Gotham Chopra. The series serves as a tribute to tennis legend Serena Williams and her legacy, which revolutionized the game in the last two decades. The documentary series is called, In the Arena: Serena Williams. Brady released the official teaser of this documentary on his Instagram story, garnering crazy reactions from his followers.

Ever since the veteran stepped out of the NFL arena, he has been engaged in expanding his business ventures. This also includes his own production house, 199 productions. After his own docuseries, Main in the Arena: Tom Brady, this upcoming one is a major project chronicling the life of a tennis star who fought her way to the top.

Tom Brady shares snippets of Serena Williams’ new docuseries

In the video which Tom shared, Serena can be heard saying that everyone just wanted to see her lose. “It became, we don’t care who wins, we just don’t want her to win,” Williams claims, adding that while she thought this was a curse, it actually made her the ‘Serena Williams’. The video ends with the iconic laugh from the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

Gotham Chopra, who happens to be the mastermind behind several iconic projects showcasing the lives of sporting legends like Brady and Michael Jordan, has collaborated with 199 productions for filming Serena’s journey. The series includes personal interviews, and reviews from Williams’ teammates and coaching staff that helped her reach the top.

“Serena [Williams] fights to maintain her place atop the tennis world while juggling the transformational experience of starting a family,” reads the series description, per Sportico.com. Brady shared a snippet of the promotional video on his Instagram story.

The series will definitely bring out unheard stories of Williams’ struggle, grit and determination. Moreover, as Gotham Chopra is also involved in the project, the overall brand value of 199 productions is expected to rise exponentially in the near future.

Brady’s docuseries won an Emmy last year

Tom Brady just knows how to be the absolute best in every field. His docuseries Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, got rave reviews from fans and experts and was eventually nominated at last year’s Emmys in the Outstanding Documentary series category. As expected, he won!!
