“It Cost Him $2,167 Per Twerk”: Vikings DB Alexander Mattison Fined $6,503 For Twerking In The End Zone
The Minnesota Vikings have been absolutely sensational this season. Right from game 1, they have been able to make plays at crucial instances which has allowed them to win 10 out of their 12 clashes.
So far, they have looked like the side to beat but not many have been able to do so as all their bases are finely covered. Last Sunday, the team from Minnesota took on the impressive Jets and gifted their fans another memorable win.
After a dull first quarter, the Vikings scored a mammoth 17 points in the second quarter which ultimately allowed them to put the opposition under a massive amount of pressure.
Although the Jets tried, they ended up falling short by 5 points. Kirk Cousins had a fine day, Justin Jefferson also enjoyed himself on the field.

Yes, he was following the famous twerk challenge which has gone crazy viral on the internet in the past few weeks. It was a touchdown celebration from the DB.
However, the celebration ended up costing him $2,167 per twerk. While the amount is not much for an NFL player, the fine does give a clear indication about how an athlete is expected to behave on the field.
The internet had varied reactions on the news as some claimed that it was a mere celebration which didn’t really harm anyone and termed the punishment a little too harsh, many also stated that certain rules must be kept in mind while expressing excitement on the field.
Nevertheless, the big thing is that the Vikings ended up winning the game and are now getting set to face the Detroit Lions in their next clash.
