Mayfield and his wife Emily were spotted at Poppy, a high-end nightclub frequented by celebrities and other athletes after his sensational Rams debut, which featured an incredible 98-yard game-winning drive.
“I knew Baker would lead a 98 yard drive with no timeouts to win the game after only having 48 hours to learn the offense.”

At the popular West Hollywood bar, where a lit-up sign read: “Baker for the win,” the couple sat in a private booth while being surrounded by bottle girls. A sparkler was held in the air by one server, and a glowing bottle of Kendall Jenner’s 818 tequila was raised by another.
Emily showed videos of friends supporting Mayfield at SoFi Stadium before the postgame party.
Joining the team on Tuesday and winning a game on Thursday at the quarterback position is absolutely incredible.
There are some positions that you can plug into a new team/system somewhat easily. QB has to be by far the hardest.
Damn impressive Baker.

After being released by the Panthers on Monday following a mutual decision to part ways, Mayfield made his debut with the Rams three days later, going 22 of 35 for 230 yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions.
Baker Mayfield booked a flight to LA before Rams even claimed him
Baker Mayfield requested a release from the Panthers after being dropped from No. 2 to No. 3 on their depth chart. By waiving him on Monday, Carolina gave him that permission. Mayfield was unable to select his new team because he was up for waivers, making any team eligible to claim him. But he had a strong feeling that the next day, he would become a Ram.

Mayfield revealed on Amazon’s postgame show that he booked a flight to Los Angeles before even realising he had been claimed by the Rams.
Although Mayfield was aware that John Wolford would start the game, he also knew he had to be prepared when his number was called.
I was never going to start, he admitted. “We were just waiting to see how John would feel. I was going to be prepared whatever happened”.
Mayfield was well prepared and was exceptional on the game day and and a result, the Rams ended up winning one of the most entertaining games of the season.
