Tom Brady graced the Delta Pink event on the ‘Breast Cancer One’ flight before a group of cancer survivors set on to their flight to Salt Lake City. He followed Delta’s CEO Ed Bastian on the stage as he congratulated the group and shared his mother’s journey with breast cancer.
“I got invited today to be with you guys and to tell you that you know, you guys have inspired a lot of people through your bravery, through your courage, through your resilience in fighting a very difficult disease. I have come here to send you guys off and say congratulations. Keep fighting,” said Tom Brady.
Tom Brady’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, now seven years in remission. The NFL star’s mother, Galynn, has often been referred to as being the driving force in his career.
Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and had to undergo chemotherapy and radiation for five months. She emerged as a survivor. Following the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl LI victory, Brady shared this news with the world.
