The whole world is coming together to pray for the young Bills safety Damar Hamlin. The talented footballer abruptly collapsed in the first quarter of the Monday Night Football clash against the Cincinnati Bengals.

At first, when Damar tackled Bengals Receiver Tee Higgins, nothing felt out of the ordinary as the safety quickly got up. However, moments after that, Damar was visibly unstable and was struggling to stay on his feet.
Post that, he horribly collapsed on the field leaving even his opponents shell shocked. The medical staff quickly rushed onto the field to perform a checkup.
CPR was quickly administered to him and oxygen was also provided. However, he still looked in bad shape after which, he was transferred to the UC medical facility with the help of an ambulance.

“Please continue to pray for Damar and his family. We currently have no update at this time. Will ask that you keep the family in your prayers,” Hamlin’s agent Ira Turner said after the injury.
Moreover, as per the latest visuals, Stefon Diggs has walked into the medical facility where Damar is getting treatment. This gesture is getting a lot of appreciating from both, the Bengals as well as the Bills fans who have gathered in numbers outside the hospital.

This is why we say that the main aim of sports is to bring people together. Although things do heat up between rival fans on many occasions, to see all of them holding hands and praying for the well-being of a pure soul is just incredible.

As far as an update on Damar is concerned, ESPN reporter Coley Harey recently Tweeted that it is unlikely that an update will be issued by the hospital. “Just spoke to a rep from University of Cincinnati Medical Center who says the hospital does NOT anticipate giving an update tonight on Damar Hamlin’s status.”
