If you’re an NFL fan, or even if you’re not, you’ve heard about the disastrous Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s a shocking and tragic incident.
This was one of the most supportive things I’ve ever seen in my life. Dan Orlovsky from ESPN actually stopped and prayed for Bills safety Damar Hamlin. He didn’t just say “thoughts and prayers” etc. He actually stopped to pray for Damar on national television. Truly incredible! pic.twitter.com/xBvmk2Wbzn

With 6:12 left in the first quarter, Hamlin tackled Tee Higgins and stood up before collapsing to the turf, despite the fact that it appeared to be a routine tackle. However, Hamlin stood up for a split second before falling back down, appearing to collapse and lose consciousness.
After receiving CPR on the field, Hamlin was quickly transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition as of Tuesday evening. Since the incident, many fans, players, and media members have taken to social media and television to express their support for Hamlin.

Dan Orlovsky prays for Damar Hamlin on NFL Live
When appearing on NFL Live on Tuesday, Dan Orlovsky took this to heart and used the occasion to pray live on air. Orlovsky said: “Maybe this is not the right thing to do but it’s just on my heart that I want to pray for Damar Hamlin right now. It may be the most powerful moment you’ll ever see on television. I’m going to pray for him out loud, with my eyes closed, with my head bowed, and no other movements.”
Heavenly Father
Please find it in your will to heal Damar Hamlin from whatever is causing his injuries. Protect him from any further harm. Please Lord, allow him to go home to his family. Healthy Father God. In Jesus name Amen

Dan Continued, “We pray to you because we believe that you are God and that doing so has an effect. God, we come to you in these moments that we don’t understand and that are difficult.Although we want answers and are sad, angry, and angry, some things cannot be answered.”
“We simply want to ask for strength from you, healing from your wounds, comfort from you, to be with his loved ones, and peace for Damar.”
