Derrick Henry is the definition of a power runner, and his stiff arms will prove that to you, something his teammate Taylor Lewan definitely took notice of.

Henry is coming off a season in which he was nothing short of dominant. After a career best year in 2019-20, many predicted that after such a heavy workload, Henry’s numbers would fall off in the 2021 NFL season.

However, that would prove to be one of the worst takes as Henry didn’t just have a great year last season, he almost had a record setting year, improving on his already dominant form from earlier. Henry would touch the 2,000 yard mark, finishing as the eighth running back to ever do it.

Throughout his career, Henry has built up a reputation of destroying defenders by stiff-arming them into oblivion and last season was no different.

Derrick Henry Had Taylor Lewan Stunned With A Stiff Arm Last Season

Henry’s stiff arms always turn into highlight reels for him and memes or the subject of a troll for the defender who got steamrolled by one. You remember Josh Norman getting bulldozed right?

Henry has many more of those plays including one against the Detroit Lions last season when he destroyed Alex Myres with another nasty one. Here’s the play:
