Dak Prescott is generally one of the most talked about athletes in the league. While some reckon that he is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the competition, many also opine that he is way overpaid by an owner who doesn’t like to be told that he made a bad call.

Just like the last season, Dak had a hot and cold year this time around as well. He was able to show his prowess on a few occasions but when it came to achieving consistency, he was seen lacking big time.
Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wildcard clash, Dak delivered astonishing numbers and fans were sure that he is going to carry the same form in the coming playoff games as well. However, Shannon Sharpe had opined that Dak will choke in the divisional round and it would be fair to say that he was right.
Colin Cowherd is not surprised with Dak’s poor outing against 49ers
For 206 yards, Dak scored one touchdown and ended up throwing two interceptions against Purdy’s 49ers. After the contest, NFL analyst Colin Cowherd had his say on Dak’s future and without a doubt, his take is not going to please a lot of Dak fans.
“You may want to draft a quarterback”

“The pushback on Dak Prescott is, folks, he is now gone from a player who didn’t have a lot of turnovers early in his career behind a great O-line but they didn’t ask him to do much. Well now their O-line is in a little bit of a rebuild, so he didn’t quite have a lot of time to throw,” Colin stated.
“Now they ask him to throw a lot more and this is what you get,” he stated, adding that even when Tom Brady was with Bill Belichick, the coach was drafting QBs in order to ensure that he has a viable backup.
Colin went on to suggest that the Cowboys need to look beyond Dak as well and spend some energy and money on prospects who can deliver after they have been given the proper amount of game time to develop some confidence.
