The Buccaneers quarterback was in attendance for his long time friend and rival’s induction ceremony, paying respect to the quarterback he battled for so long.
Brady vs. Manning may go down as the greatest quarterback rivalry in NFL history, as the two have had some incredible battles, both in the regular and post season. After Manning’s induction, Brady had some jokes going around, as he usually does. In fact, he said the whole reason he was going was to make sure Peyton didn’t return.
I just need to make sure he’s really done. Can’t risk this guy coming back… https://t.co/8afUVxicjO

Tom Brady Admits He’s Relieved He Won’t Have To Face Peyton Manning Again
Brady and Manning went head to head a total of 17 times in their careers, with Brady winning 11 of the matchups. Manning did get the better of Brady towards the end of his career, winning six of the last 11 matchups including two victories in AFC Conference Championship games.
For this reason, it looks like Brady can breathe a sigh of relief, now that he knows Peyton Manning won’t be bothering him again from Canton.

The Patriots vs. Colts or Broncos games were always classics. The games often ended up being dramatic with a nail biting finish to an impressive quarterback duel.
One of the best games may have been the 2006 AFC Championship game when Manning and the Colts stormed back from a 21-3 deficit to beat Brady’s Pats en-route to Manning’s first Super Bowl title.

Another solid game was a regular season game with the Patriots and Broncos where Brady led the comeback this time, brining New England down from 24-0 to win the game.
