How To Set Up the Super Bowl Squares Grids?
Setting up the game is very easy. All you need is a piece of paper and a pencil. Otherwise, there are many Super Bowl squares games you can join online too.
However, if you’re playing with family, and you just want to do it for fun, the easiest way is to just tear out a piece of paper and draw the grid manually.
The grid consists of a 10×10 layout with the two competing teams holding either the x or y-axis. In this case, that would be the Buccaneers and the Chiefs.
Each column and row will soon be assigned a number from 1-9, leaving one row and column empty. Don’t assign anything just yet, but this is just the general setup. This grid allows for 100 chances to win.
Filling Out the Squares Grid
Now, players must assign squares to whoever is participating. This is again done before the numbers are assigned which adds a little randomness to the game.
However, this is also ensures that the game is being played at the fairest possible level, nobody holds an advantage. The squares are assigned in turn with each participant getting the same number (if the 100 squares can’t be evenly distributed then just hold some squares as common ones for everyone).
Now Assign the Numbers
Now using a dice or something else that will randomize the process, assign the numbers to each row and column. he empty row and column from before are assigned with the value of 0.
The most important thing here is to make sure that everything is random and that there aren’t any patterns or biases in the numerical sequences. The grid could look something like this:

How Do You Win Super Bowl Squares?
Now that the setup is complete, the matter comes down to who wins this game. Well, the outcome of the game is entirely dependent on the Super Bowl itself.
Winners are determined at every quarter. Thus, there’s a winner for the end of the first quarter, the second quarter, the third quarter, and finally the end of the game.
The way the winner is chosen is by looking at the last digit of each team’s score at the end of those intervals. For example, if the score at the end of the first quarter is 10-7, then the digits 0 and 7 are looked. The intersection of these numbers is then found on the grid, and whoever’s name is assigned to that grid wins.
If the score at the end of the third is 24-17, then the intersection of 4 and 7 determines the winner. If you’re playing with family and friends you can add stakes too. The winner may get certain perks, or if you want to really get into you could add money.
Every player would have to buy in creating a pot, and the winners of the first, second, and third quarters could get 20% of the pot while the person who wins the final square gets the remaining 40%.
Super Bowl squares is a fun way to pass the Super Bowl and it adds a little extra flavor for fans watching at home.
