Shaquille O’Neal, While Talking Golf With Patrick Mahomes, Destroys Charles Barkley, Who Called Him a “One & a Half, Big Fella”
Patrick Mahomes and his favorite target, Travis Kelce, make for a phenomenal team that tries to win every game they are a part of. The world of football even considers them as one of the best duos in the business who never shy away from competing against anyone in any field. Recently, Shaquille O’Neal challenged the Kansas City Chiefs QB and the star TE to a two-on-two game basketball against him and Kenny Smith. However, what fans got during the chat was top-tier TV content.
Actually, what ended up taking all the limelight while Shaq and Mahomes were having a chat in order to promote ‘The Match,’ is what Charles Barkley said about Shaq’s weight. Barkley’s playful jibe did offend O”Neal who didn’t waste a single second before pointing out what a ‘Fat A**’ Charles himself is.
Charles Barkley hilariously offends Shaquille O’Neal
As per ProFootballTalk, Mahomes revealed during the chat that the injury he sustained to his ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the postseason was healing well. He also revealed that he has been working on his jump shot and wants to show it to Shaq.
Shaq thought that by telling him about his jump shot, Mahomes was challenging him and Kenny Smith. To this, the NFL MVP quarterback warned Shaq to only play free throws, as everyone knows how terrible Shaq’s form is when it comes to throwing from the foul line. This is when Shaq insisted on a two-on-two. The conversation went like this:
“Why not?” Shaq said. “You’re working on your jump shot.”
“You’re not moving very well, so I might have a chance,” Mahomes said.
“Actually, I did get a new hip,” Shaq replied.
During the same conversation, Charles Barkley made a cheeky comment about Shaq’s weight, referring to the contest as a “two-and-a-half-on-two” event. In response, Shaq made a more explicit fat joke about Barkley, saying, “I know your fat a** didn’t just call me one-and-a-half.” After these exchanges, and a few laughs, the matter was concluded without any tensions.
Shaq gets finally gets served in FTX lawsuit
While the NBA legend is surely having some fun in the booth, things might get a bit intense for him in the coming days, A little while ago, O’Neal finally received a summon in the class action lawsuit filed against him and other celebrities, including Tom Brady, over the FTX collapse. As reported by ProFootballTalk, attorney Adam Moskowitz revealed that Shaq was served on Tuesday when he was working for TNT during the Heat vs. Celtics NBA game.
“He was personally provided the papers, so he cannot raise his absurd delay tactics,” Moskowitz said. “We watched the prior Heat/Celtics game, so knew he would be in the outside broadcasting b0oth where fans were right next door.”

Interestingly, the venue where the marquee basketball game took place had a different name in the past. It was known as FTX Center, prior to the company’s collapse. Except for the FTX lawsuit, Shaq was served in a new lawsuit over the Astrals Project as well, an NFT/crypto offering. O’Neal has 20 days to respond to both of the complaints.
