Tom Brady and Novak Djokovic are two absolute pioneers of their respective fields. While Tom Brady has 7 Super Bowl titles, which is more than what any single franchise has won in league history, Novak Djokovic has 22 Grand Slam titles in his kitty, joint highest alongside Rafael Nadal. Needless to say, both, Novak and Brady, who boast net worths of $220 Million and $300 Million, respectively, know quite a bit about longevity, strength and stamina. This is why, they have had a few chats about training and recovery in the recent past.

Known for being fierce competitors in their respective fields, Tom and Novak know how to keep themselves away from injuries, despite playing for such a long time at the highest level. While Tom recently called it quits after playing for 23 seasons, Djokovic isn’t expected to do the same, until he earns his 23rd Slam, at least.
Novak Djokovic accepted talking to Tom Brady about recovery & training
Back in 2021, during an interaction with Serbian journalists, as per TennisMajors.com, Novak was asked to reflect upon who he turns to when things go awry. Upon crediting his family and close friends for his progress, Djokovic had stated that he is also highly influenced by the likes of Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady. Talking about Tom, Djoker Nole had claimed that he often talks to him regarding training and recovery.
“I speak with Tom Brady frequently about training and recovery. I make an effort to make use of the opportunity to share something with all sportsmen and sportswomen, things that aided me or hindered me, and I ask questions, especially to those who have reached the pinnacle of their sport,” Djokovic had stated.
Novak Djokovic is the living embodiment of strength and stamina. The man, even at 36 years of age, can out do any young tennis star in a 5-set encounter with ridiculous ease. Same goes for the 45-year-old Brady, who struggled in his final NFL season, but was still able to take his side to the playoffs.
One massive reason behind the unbelievable fitness of the two stars is the kind of diets they follow.
Tom Brady and Novak Djokovic have very strict diet regimes
It is almost impossible to believe that Novak, who was once on the verge of prematurely ending his career as he was suffering from a sort of allergic asthma, not only resolved his health issues, but also went on to establish himself as one of the finest of all time. A huge credit for his success goes to his medical team as they shifted Nole to completely gluten-fire, dairy-free, sugar-free diet.
Djokovic then shifted to a plant-based diet and hasn’t looked back ever since. As far as Brady is concerned, he follows an 80/20 plan, with 80 percent of his diet being vegetables and the other 20 percent being meat. He generally consumes items like Avocado ice creams, seasonal salad, smoothies, veggie lasagna, and salmon burger, as they are highly organic, and gluten-free.
