Josh Allen is all set to start the Bills’ playoff campaign this season, and with the Dolphins coming to town, it’s worth taking a look at his playoff record and stats.

Buffalo had a strong season this year, and they will look to build upon last season in the playoffs. Of course, they were a strong Super Bowl contender, but they lost a heartbreaker of a game to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round.
The Chiefs are the AFC’s biggest threat, and if Buffalo wants to make it to the big game, they’ll likely have to go through Arrowhead Stadium.
That Bills-Chiefs game was one of the best playoff games in NFL history, so if we’re treated to another game like that, as fans, we’ve won. First, they need to beat their division rivals, the Miami Dolphins.

Josh Allen Playoff Record
Josh Allen has played in 6 playoff games to date, and he has an even record of 3-3 in the playoffs. His first postseason appearance came in the 2019-20 season where he faced off against the Texans in Houston.
In that game, Deshaun Watson led an incredible comeback as Buffalo blew a lead late, knocking Josh Allen out of the postseason.
In the 2020-21 season, Josh Allen had his revenge. He beat the Colts and Ravens at home to take Buffalo to the AFC Championship game. However, they met a red-hot Chiefs team that wasn’t going to stop till the Super Bowl and lost 38-24.
Last year, the Bills beat the Patriots in the Wild Card round. That took them to a divisional-round rematch against the Chiefs. Buffalo would take the lead with just 13 seconds left, but with some Mahomes magic, the Chiefs tied the game and took it to overtime.
In overtime, Josh Allen couldn’t do anything but watch as the Chiefs got the ball first and promptly marched down the field and scored to win 42-36. That game led to a rule change for these playoffs as now both teams will be allowed possession.

Dolphins vs Bills prediction
Unfortunately, for the first round of the playoffs, we won’t be seeing a fully healthy Dolphins team. They will be without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and will roll with rookie Skylar Thompson.
Given Thompson’s relative inexperience, the Bills’ defense will find it easier to contain a Dolphins offense that relied heavily on the big play threat from Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The Bills will also be playing for safety Damar Hamlin after he suffered cardiac arrest in the middle of the Bills-Bengals game.
Josh Allen and the Bills shouldn’t have much of a problem here and will be able to make it back to the divisional round again.
