Madden 22 Release Date : When will Madden 22 come out for PS4 and Xbox as EA Sports teases Cover Athletes

It’s the time of the year where Madden fans will be expecting the next edition of the game. With only the game confirmed yet, here is what and when to expect from Madden 22.

Madden NFL dropped a new teaser and NFL fans have been hyped. The trailer hints at EA potentially having two cover athletes. If it does, this would be the first time Madden would have two cover athletes since Madden 10 which had Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald.

When to expect the Madden 22 game.

EA Sports is yet to announce a date, but speculating a date is not that tough. The game will be out in August for sure. But when in august is a little trickier.

For the majority of the game’s history, all of the most recent Madden games launched near the end of August, and the last three years came out on a Friday. If that is taken into consideration, The game will probably come out on August 20th or August 27th.

However, EA sports dropped Madden 19 on August 7th and Madden 20 on August 2nd. So we could see the game drop earlier, considering that the Madden 21 could have been delayed due to development issues during the pandemic. If that is the case, Madden 22 could come out Friday, the 6th of August.

However, the possibility of the delay is still present. The transition to the next-gen consoles from Playstation and Xbox or other advancements being could stall the game. But there is no indication so far that Madden 22 will face any delays just yet.

When to expect the Game trial and Early Access.

As for a Demo of Madden 22, players can likely expect EA to deliver their standard EA Play Trial in the weeks leading up to the Madden 22 Release Date. While the exact date is still in the air, the demo will in all likeliness come out 10-14 days before the game. EA Play subscribers will also get access to a 10-hour trial.

Similar to Madden 21, those who choose to Pre-Order the game will get Early Access to the game. Those who chose to Pre Order the MVP Edition of Madden 21 were offered 3-Day Early Access, a bonus that we’ll likely see back for Madden 22. Pre-Orders will likely start in July.
