NFL All Time Leading Scorer List: Top Five Highest Scorers In The NFL:
#5. John Carney: 2,062 Points
John Carney was a stud of a placekicker for several teams over his long NFL career. Carney played from 1988 to 2010 and finished his career kicking at an 82.4% clip. He went to the Pro Bowl twice and was First-Team All Pro once.
#4. Jason Hanson: 2,150 Points
Hanson was a prolific kicker for the Detroit Lions through his NFL career. Playing with the Lions from 1992 to 2012, Hanson earned two trips to the Pro Bowl and finished with an 82.4% mark on his field goals as well.
#3. Gary Anderson: 2,434 Points
As is the general trend, Anderson enjoyed a long and successful career in the NFL. Although Anderson mostly played for the Steelers, he found success with Minnesota too. He finished with three Pro Bowls and a First-Team All Pro selection. He finished hitting field goals at an 80.1% mark.
#2. Morten Andersen: 2,544 Points
Andersen was one of the most prolific kickers back in his prime with the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. He finished with 7 Pro Bowl selections and three First-Team All Pro’s as well.

And of course, Vinatieri holds the number one spot for all time points scored in the NFL. Vinatieri was one of the most clutch kickers in the league as well, drilling two field goals to help the New England Patriots win two Super Bowls among a number of other clutch kicks in playoff games.
He finished with three Pro Bowls and three First-Team All Pro selections and 4 Super Bowl wins, and he has the highest accuracy of any kicker on this list at 83.8%.
