Tom Brady

An NFL Space Jam may never happen, but if it did, how would it look? Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and even Eli Manning could be in this movie.

LeBron James’ Space Jam is set to release today bringing back Michael Jordan’s iconic movie from 1996. The Lakers star has assembled quite the cast for his movie including players like Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, and Damian Lillard.

So, if the NFL were to go with their own Space Jam what kind of legendary cast could they assemble, and what would the main storyline be? Let me show you guys one particular movie plot that I feel should definitely be considered if there ever was an NFL Space Jam.

What Would An NFL Space Jam Look Like? Tom Brady vs. Eli Manning In A Revenge Game For The Centuries

In 2007, Tom Brady and the Patriots were on a mission. They finished the regular season an unbeaten 16-0, and after making the Super Bowl, the only team standing in their path was a Wild Card New York Giants team who they had already beaten.

They could probably beat them again right? Nope. Eli Manning and his Giants would end the streak, pulling off one of the biggest upsets in NFL history. Brady couldn’t even exact his revenge in 2012 as he lost to Eli for a second straight time. Now, we go to 2027, when Brady is 50 years old, still playing in the league.

Sensing Brady’s dominance growing, Eli Manning decides it’s time for him to suit up again to shut down Brady for a third time. He calls upon generational talent across the league and throughout eras, using a time potion to bring them back to their primes.

Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, and several others who have been wronged by Tom in the past answer Eli’s call to put an end to Brady and his career once and for all.

Brady feels the presence of this threat looming over him, and as a result, he takes matters into his own hands. Calling upon Michael Jordan’s legendary Toon Squad, Brady recruits Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny, and the rest of the Looney Tunes to form the ultimate squad.

Several NFL players form their own version of a death squad to counter Brady, with Eli Manning’s being the cream of the crop. Brady and the Looney Tunes have to battle it out against multiple squads to reach their end goal: Eli Manning’s roster: ‘The Goon Squad.’

Compiling a perfect record along the way, Brady realizes that this his opportunity to avenge his 16-0 season taking down the very man who crushed his dreams of being the only quarterback and team to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

Seems pretty standard right? Well, let’s add a little twist to it. As always, Brady will be at it with his social media game, trying to talk down his opponents, particularly Eli Manning. Because of this The Goon Squad lets Brady know that he has a lot to lose if he fails to win.

For one, he’ll have to retire immediately, ending Brady’s goal of playing till he’s 60 years old. Secondly, he’ll have to forfeit all of his records and titles, denouncing himself while also declaring Eli Manning to be his ‘father’ and the greatest player the NFL has ever seen publicly.

And that, that is my suggestion for the NFL Space Jam. Hold your applause, I know there’s a lot of it, but this could be the plot the NFL could choose to go with if they ever launched such a movie. Who wouldn’t love to see a Brady vs. Manning part three with the stakes higher than ever?
