Aaron Rodgers has somehow found a way to get the Packers back in a playoff clinching scenario. The Packers were sitting in a horrible position just halfway through the season. With a five game losing streak, and a 4-8 record, things seemed impossible.

In fact, out of a plethora of teams that started the year 4-8, Green Bay could be just the second team to qualify for the playoffs. They needed to win against the Vikings, and they more than did that. Now, the Packers control their own destiny, and despite all the odds, they can eliminate an NFC North rival and clinch their spot in the playoffs.
Sound familiar? Back in the 2013-14 season, the Packers had a similar season. Rodgers got injured, and the Bears had a strong chance to make the playoffs. However, Rodgers would come back in week 16, beat the Bears and made the playoffs. History could repeat itself.
How can Aaron Rodgers and the Packers make the playoffs?
The Packers have a very straightforward path to the playoffs. They were given a gift when Cleveland defeated the Washington Commanders, eliminating them from the playoffs.
Now, the Packers are tied with the Lions and Seahawks with an 8-8 record. With four straight wins, the Packers have an easy route. Beat the Lions, and they’re in. It’s that simple. Green Bay would qualify for the playoffs against all odds, and from there, they might be the most dangerous team in the NFC.
The best Green Bay can do is qualify seventh place, meaning they’d play the number two seed. Currently, that stands as the San Francisco 49ers.
There is no doubt about the fact that Rodgers and Co. struggled massively and just couldn’t get going in the beginning of the season. However, when they have found their rhythm, Packers fans have suddenly discovered their voices and this just might be the good omen they needed to succeed at the play offs where they have struggled big time in the past few seasons.
